Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Will I need to assemble the bike after it is delivered?

A. Yes it will require some assembly. Bikes have to be partly dismantled to get them into a box, so that they can be transported safely. So when you receive it, the bike will then need to be re-assembled. There may also be some adjustment required on the brakes etc.

Q. Can I do the assembly on the bike myself?
A. Yes, provided that you have sufficient knowledge of cycle assembly. But if in doubt, we would have to recommend taking it to a good bike shop, for them to assemble. The shop would be likely to charge for this service of course.

Q. How long will it take to deliver?
A. All of our orders received prior to midday on weekdays are dispatched the same day on an express delivery service. Whilst we aim for delivery to take place within 2 working days, many arrive next day.

Q. If I need a part for the bike in the future, will I be able to get it from my local bike shop?
A. Yes, every bike we supply, can be serviced with standard parts available from any good bike.

Q.The suspension bike I have ordered seems to be too big for my son, as the saddle will not go down low enough - it was the right size listed for his height?
A. Seat posts fitted to this style of bike are made as a "one size fits all" length. You need to leave a minimum of a 1" gap between the bottom of the seat post and the frame below it, so that the post does not touch the frame when you sit on the bike. If this means that the seat is now too high, then you will need to fit a shorter seat post of a suitable height (available separately from all good bike shops). It is possible to shorten the length of the post, but you should aware that there are "minimum insertion" marks on all seat post which are there for you guide and safety, and to remove them must be done at your own risk.
